06/26/2009 - Realtors Provide their Clients with a Customized Search Experience by Adding IDX Broker to their Websites
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 26, 2009
EUGENE, ORE. – The IDX, Inc. team is excited to announce the addition of Jeff Rupkalvis with Home Guy, Inc. in Pittsboro, North Carolina to the expanding database of Realtors simplifying the online real estate search for consumers, by implementing a custom IDX solution. This unique Internet Data Exchange (IDX) software has the advanced technology to extract raw data from the Triangle MLS (TMLS), and formats the information to be displayed as a seamlessly integrated and easily searchable part of Rupkalvis' website. The incorporation of the TMLS updates the property listings automatically onto Rupkalvis' site, so that he not only has more time to interact and provide more personal with each individual client, but he will also never have to worry about his customized listing data being out of date.
Using IDX search categories, personally customized and formatted by Rupkalvis, prospective home buyers browsing within the TMLS can now choose search details and criteria from categories such as: landscaping, flooring, roof type, heating/ cooling system, storage space, school districts and recreation. Home seekers can then elect to save their specified search preferences and sign up to receive automatic email alerts, the moment a property matching their specifications become available on the TMLS. Rupkalvis has access to this clients saved information and search quarries, via his own personal administrative log-in, providing him with the resources to follow up with each individual, as well as new leads, providing them with a more personalized online real estate search experience.
Through the administrative log-in dashboard, supplied to Rupkalvis with the addition of IDX Broker, he has the ability to manage all of his new leads, edit his custom CSS and global wrappers, and keep track of daily price increases and decreases, as well as new and removed properties on the TMLS. A site traffic report on the administrative page, details how often potential home buyers are visiting the site, along with which pages are being viewed most frequently. It is here that Rupkalvis can create custom XML codes, helping to syndicate his listings with popular real estate sites such as Real Estate For Sale Network, Google Base, Trulia, Zillow, and RSS Feed, and increase his listings visibility throughout the web.

About Jeff Rupkalvis
Jeff Rupkalvis states of his company, “We have been in business here for 20 years, so of course we know the real estate market, but there is so much more. The schools, the neighborhoods, the restaurants, the tennis clubs and golf courses, nightlife, who has the freshest seafood... Satisfying real estate transactions hinge on two things, the money and the process. In the end the Buyer and Seller are the only ones who have any control over the money, while the real estate agents are responsible for the process. We are really focused on the process. There is no substitute for calm heads and long-term perspective in this business.”
